殆どの屋外盤はアクリル系もしくは粉体のポリエステル系を使用しております。
メラミン塗装と比較すると、耐候性が大きく違います。
紫外線を浴びると塗装が粉を吹くようになるチョーキング現象の耐性が5倍ほど違います。
